How we handle your enquiry details

This notice covers the Home Energy check only. It sits alongside our main Privacy Notice, which explains your rights in full.

Who we are

Spiral Renewables Limited (company number 14300212) is the data controller for the details you give us. You can reach us at info@spiralrenewables.com or 07738 228 074.

What we collect

Your postcode, whether you own or rent, what you're interested in, an optional estimate of your electricity use, whether you're interested in paying per month, the number of properties you let if you're a landlord, and your name, email, phone and preferred contact time.

We also record which advert, leaflet or link brought you to the site, the page you landed on, the site that referred you, and the date and wording of the consent you gave.

Why we use it

To work out which installation options may suit your home, to contact you about your enquiry, and — where you've agreed — to arrange a survey and quote. We rely on your consent for contact and for sharing your details, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the service for basic record-keeping.

Who we share it with

Where you have ticked the required consent box and your enquiry is suitable for a survey, we share your details with our accredited installation team so they can arrange it. We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to unrelated third parties.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or you have work carried out, in which case we keep the records needed for that work and any warranty.

Your choices

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@spiralrenewables.com. You also have the right to see, correct, delete or restrict the use of your details, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
