A key part of the project involved submitting a G99 application to the local Distribution
Network Operator (DNO) National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) to secure the necessary export capabilities for when the system is generating more than the site requirements.
Spiral Renewables is now working closely with Client to manage the current export requirements and deploying a battery system that will see the generation maximised to support their growing EV fleet.
NET is now also looking to expand other solar PV systems across their network in a bid to hit their sustainability targets.
